Preferred candidates will have experience in heavy civil/highway construction. This position requires availability for overtime and successful completion of pre-employment drug testing.
Job Summary: The Water Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a 2000K-4000K water truck. This role includes performing preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections to ensure the safe operation of the assigned equipment. A current Commercial Driver's License with a Tanker endorsement is required.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members. Produce high-quality work safely and efficiently at all times. Provide feedback to ensure the availability of all necessary materials, tools, equipment, and information for the job. Identify opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means, and methods, and be open to learning from others. Share knowledge and teach others whenever possible. Demonstrate high proficiency in preventative maintenance of all related equipment. Eliminate waste in waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time. Job Requirements: One to three years of experience in the industrial/commercial/heavy highway/civil construction industry with a thorough understanding of the operation of various types of trucks. Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement is required. Ability to read and understand safety and quality standards and effectively use all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
