Center Associate

Job Summary:The Center Associate at The UPS Store Fairfield #4318 is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to clients at our retail location. This is a part-time position with a base salary and commission structure in the Franchise industry. The individual in this role will work alongside a team to ensure the store's daily operations run smoothly and meet all customer needs. This is an individual contributor role that will require strong communication and organizational skills.Compensation & Benefits:The Center Associate position at The UPS Store Fairfield #4318 offers a competitive base salary of $12 to $14 per hour, with the potential for additional commission earnings. Our employees are also eligible for biweekly pay and may be eligible for additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off (based on eligibility).Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers with their shipping, printing, and packaging needsProvide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive and friendly attitudeProcess and track shipments using UPS systemsOperate printers and other equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficientlyMeet and exceed sales goals and targets through promoting products and servicesMaintain a clean and organized store environmentHandle cash and credit transactions accuratelyOrder and maintain inventory of store suppliesComplete required training programs and attend meetings as scheduledAdhere to company policies and proceduresRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferredPrevious retail or customer service experience is highly preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentProficient computer and technology skillsMust be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsReliable transportation to and from workAbility to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.EEOC Statement:The UPS Store Fairfield #4318 is an equal opportunity employer.
