Certification Maintenance Specialist

Certification Maintenance Specialist Contract/Temp hire (6-8 weeks) Hybrid (2 days a week in downtown Chicago) $28-32/hour ***** The Certification Maintenance Associate is part of a professional certification team and serves as the primary contact for credentialed members regarding the maintenance of their certification. The role involves managing incoming emails and phone inquiries to provide support and guidance on certification requirements and procedures. This position reports to the Certification Maintenance Manager and is based in an office environment.
Core Responsibilities Maintain and certify membership and educational CertificationsAssist members with technical difficulties while accessing program areas on companys website.Respond to member calls and e-mails related to certification maintenance, elevating appropriate issues to other staff for additional follow-up if needed.Prepare reports for local chapters regarding certification logging status of members and respond to follow-up inquiries.Process certification exemption requests from members.Follow the SOP for certification maintenance Logging, member exemption and member Reinstatement Policies.Process reinstatement requests from lapsed members by reviewing membership and certification history based on the Member Reinstatement Policies.Keep accurate weekly totals on reinstatements and exemptions processed.Troubleshoot and test certification maintenance log system. Core Requirements 2-4 years' customer service experience required.Associate degree preferred.Association background preferred.in Microsoft Office required.Experience with CRM systems, iMIS preferred.Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams preferred.Customer focused, problem solver, listener, and powerful communicator, comfortable working with a range of people in a collaborative environment. Flexible, dynamic, and engaging, with strong interpersonal skills.Strong written communication skills with a customer service orientation necessary.Proven record of taking initiative, problem solving, and organizational skills required.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to participate in multiple tasks simultaneously.
