Certified Canine Veterinary Technician to join our Physical Therapy
department!
About the role:
The CCVT will be responsible for the following duties:
Work under the supervision of our Rehab Therapist to perform and implement the designated rehabilitation therapy plan
Perform rehab appointments including underwater treadmill, laser, and therapeutic exercises
Communicate with rehab clients regarding patients and schedule upcoming appointments
Educate clients and teach exercises to be performed at home with patients
Detailed and accurate record keeping of progress on every patient
Test water chemical levels for underwater treadmill and assist with daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and maintenance as needed
Complete other tasks as assigned
Compensation Range:
$29.00 - $40.00 hourly.
Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time
3/12 Schedule (weekends required)
Basic Required Qualifications:
Current and valid CCRVT/CCRVN/CCRP license required
3+ years in the veterinary industry
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
