*Job Overview*


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring that medications are administered safely and effectively.
This position requires a strong understanding of patient needs, adherence to healthcare protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.




*Duties*


* Administer prescribed medications to patients in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.


* Monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects and report any concerns to the nursing staff.


* Assist in the documentation of medication administration in compliance with HIPAA regulations.


* Perform routine vital signs checks and maintain accurate patient records.


* Provide compassionate caregiving, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.


* Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.


* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all safety protocols.


* Stay informed about changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately.




*Experience*


* Certification as a Medication Aide is required.


* Previous experience in home care, acute care, or hospital settings is preferred.


* Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner is advantageous.


* Knowledge of anatomy, patient care best practices, and caregiving techniques is essential.


* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are necessary.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary




Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour




Expected hours: 36 per week
