Certified Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology

Job Description As a Certified Medical Assistant in the Gastroenterology department, you will provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of quality health care services.
Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for visits/admissions, performing specific services and education as directed by providers, maintaining and updating patient information, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
In addition, you will be required to have a High School Diploma or equivalent, complete a competency-based orientation program, and hold a certification as a Medical Assistant along with Basic Life Support certification.
This is a full-time position with a weekly scheduled of 36 hours.
