Certified Medical Assistant

Looking for Experienced Phone Triage Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our High-Volume Pediatric Practice in Sandy Springs! The Triage CMA will be responsible for providing telephone, triage and medical advice and will collaborate with providers to determine appropriate course of treatments and advice families of best course of action. This role requires strong clinical and communication skills to ensure the provision of quality patient care. This position is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to expand their experience in the medical field. The Triage CMA must be organized and have the ability to effectively manage multiple calls at once. The individual will need to possess a solid understanding of assessment techniques and medical protocols and work well in high-call volume setting. These roles requires: 1-2 years of phone triage experience in a medical practice setting Basic knowledge regarding medications Calling and refilling of prescriptions Good clinical judgment and ability to triage complex patients with multiple symptoms and conditions Requires ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, practice providers, nurses, and hospital Good organizational skills and ability to bring issues to closure and manage competing priorities and tasks Prior experience in Pediatrics/Primary Care practice highly preferred Competitive compensation and benefit package and paid time off; congenial work environment; excellent clinical team!
