You will also count and calculate dosages on a daily basis and document the number of scheduled drugs at the beginning and end of each shift. Additionally, the Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide will:* Report any observations concerning resident/patient condition, emergency situations or difficulties with medications to the supervising nurse throughout the shift should they occur* Document vital signs, medication administration resident behaviors associated with medication administration and facility incident and accident reports* Meet with supervisory staff to report, review and discuss medication administration process and participate in review response* Participate in designing and implementing resident care plans in relation to medication administration* Record and replace medications and medication administration supplies; maintains and clean medication cart to remain compliant with facility policies and procedures* Provide direct resident care within the scope of the CMA role and continue direct care activities and other relevant nursing assistant duties as assignedAs a *Certified Medication Aide*, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and must be a CMA in good standing.
