What you would be doing: The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role at The Orchards and, more importantly, in the lives of our residents and their family members. Our CNAs establish caring relationships with our residents and work with them to ensure their comfort and safety by attending to their needs and reporting care needs to the members of the nursing team and other center team members.
The successful candidate: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State of Michigan or a graduate of a state-approved nursing assistant training program and will be scheduled for the state competency examination within 120 days of employment.
Is resident-centered, patient, compassionate, gentle, empathetic, and a committed team player.
Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members.
