We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Las Vegas, NV to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.
This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient's residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager. We are very flexible with your schedule needs, so this is a great opportunity for those looking to pick up extra hours or build a schedule outside of other engagements.

\n ResponsibilitiesWork with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar settingAssist with the patients' activities of daily living as well as personal careProvide companionship care and basic emotional or psychological supportAdhere to the patient's established plan of careExecute the physician prescribed plan of care and maintain compliant documentation of care provided in the system of recordMonitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of careRemind patient of and administer medication as prescribedMaintain records and documentation of daily servicesCommunication with the patients' family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient Minimum QualificationsCurrent CPR certificationCurrent First Aid certificationTB test & physical examinationAbility to monitor vital signsGood interpersonal skillsCaring and compassionate personalityHand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patientsAbility to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions Preferred Qualifications1+ years of experience working in a clinical or home health setting.1+ years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a clinical or home health settingKnowledge of medical terminology1+year of caregiving experience
