Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing daily care and support to our residents.
Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent complications.Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team.Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration in accordance with residents dietary needs and preferences.Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring infection control protocols are followed at all times.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.Document resident interactions, care provided, and observations in accordance with facility policies. Qualifications: Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of North Dakota.Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Basic knowledge of long-term care principles and practices.
