Patient Fitting: Precisely fit prosthetic and orthotic devices to patients, ensuring comfort, functionality, and alignment. Make necessary adjustments as needed. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on the proper use, maintenance, and care of their prosthetic and orthotic devices. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards. Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in prosthetics and orthotics through ongoing professional development and training. Qualifications: Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) certification required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics preferred. Compassion and dedication to improving the lives of patients. Detail-oriented and organized. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
