Starting Hourly Range: $20-$25/hr

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Recovery Coach is responsible for providing recovery services to clients based on the consumers needs and preferences.
The role is to serve as "recovery guide" and role model for persons served.
When seeking to re-engage patients who meet program criteria, the worker will serve as a linkage with the counselor and as a support for the patient completing community referrals.
Independence in the community is the ultimate goal of the program.
Essential Functions
Maintains a caseload of Intensive Case Management clients and is responsible for assisting them in various recovery life skills consistent with their needs and preferences:
Examples of skill areas include, but are not limited to:
Guidance as to personal care & independent living skills Personal health & safety awareness Money management Transportation Interpersonal communications The Recovery Coach will assist the client in successful completion of their recovery plan by: Monitoring client's progress in completing recovery goals.
Coordinating transportation for patients to necessary community services.
Attending community meetings to market the program and to develop community resources.
Advocating to ensure patients have access to and receive services from community-based programs.
Minimum Qualifications CCAR RCP Designation or HHC Recovery Leadership Academy RSS certification required CPRS Certification by CCB preferred Experience and understanding of the addiction recovery process: understand and embrace medication assisted recovery, multiple pathways of recovery, and overdose prevention models Capable of building an appropriate and effective coach-client relationship Ability to maintain ethical boundaries Ability to work different shifts and in different environments Cross-cultural skills Valid driver's license, insured and reliable vehicle required.
