Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (NJH-IMH)Department: SJH Anesthesiology***$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full Time*** National Jewish Health and Intermountain Health are seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our OB Anesthesia team at St. Joseph Hospital located at 1375 E 19th Ave, Denver, CO 80218.
Position Summary
Collaborating with a physician anesthesiologist, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) autonomously provides general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for both planned and urgent obstetric surgery and obstetric interventions, while also undertaking anesthesia-related tasks.
Evaluates patients preoperatively and formulates and carries out an anesthesia care plan including monitoring and recording patient reaction to anesthesia and modifying the anesthetic plan accordingly.Skilled in the use and maintenance of anesthesia equipment. Skill to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other hospital employees. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license required. CRNA certification by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required. Active BLS and ACLS required, PALS preferred.Salary Range: $198,000 - $216,000 (.9 FTE/36 hours per week)
