The role of research associate is to assist the Supervisor in the execution of the project for which she/he has been hired.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain records of all time worked and stay within the designated time allocation. Other duties as assigned. Administer/fulfill all tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
The research project, recruit subjects, collect data, analyze data, present data and comply with all requirements. Prepare written reports and updates for the Supervisor, as requested, documenting progress of ongoing tasks, research progress, in writing and/or verbally through the conclusion of the project. Present research findings and/or departmental accomplishments at departmental meetings, scientific meetings, and/or prepare abstracts and manuscripts for presentation and publication. Record and maintain log of all project activity, correspondence, meeting minutes and back up of all records related to work performed in a manner detailed by the Supervisor and in accordance with NYULH policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a related field or Ergonomics and Biomechanics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: An advance degree or enrollment in a program toward an advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a related field or Ergonomics and Biomechanics.
