The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care. The Certified Surgical Technologist will prepare and organize the surgical environment by ensuring proper sterilization of equipment, instruments, and supplies. Other responsibilities include assisting surgical teams by passing instruments and supplies during procedures, maintaining strict aseptic techniques, adhering to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety, handling and managing surgical specimens for laboratory analysis, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
