TheChannel Development Representative (CDR)plays a critical role in accelerating Pure Storage's sales efforts through our partner network. As a dedicated resource in the Chicago region, you will work closely with Partner Account Managers (PAMs) and Pure Account Executives (AEs) to increase Pure's market share with a dedicated focus on converting partner storage white space to Pure solutions.
This role is essential for driving demand generation and ensuring a successful partnership between Pure and its partners, contributing to the growth and success of both organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure Initial Meetings:
Collaborate with Partner AEs to secure initial customer meetings for targeted accounts through co-marketing or other joint efforts.
Work with a named set of partners to identify and approach new sales opportunities.
Qualify interest and schedule initial tele-qualified meetings (TQLs)
Ensure that Pure Storage and Partner AE attend the meetings jointly to provide cohesive solutions.
Focus on driving new (non-renewal) opportunities.
Follow-up with leads provided from marketing based on recent events co-sponsored with target partner(s).
Demand Generation & Blitz Days:
Participate in call blitz days and other demand generation initiatives with partner teams.
Support joint, co-branded, activities planned by peers across partner marketing and our global partner organization to generate new leads and opportunities to fill the Pure Storage pipeline
Leverage partner relationships to penetrate white space accounts.
Operational Excellence:
Work closely with Partner AEs to advance opportunities from stage 1/2 through the sales pipeline.
Maintain regular communication with partner teams to track pipeline progress, and ensure that no leads stall in the funnel.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Previous experience in channel sales or development is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong command of verbal and written communication.
Demonstrated proficiency of interpersonal skills and managing partner relationships.
Proven track record in demand generation and lead progression.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, distributors, and other channel entities.
Experience withSalesforceor other CRM platforms is a plus.
Ability to travel 1-2 times per year minimum.
Must be in/open to relocating to Chicago
The annual base salary range is: $50,960-$77,706. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
