Job Description:
We are looking for a Chat Support Officer to join our team at Graybar Electric. This is a full-time remote position based in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an Associate Level Chat Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service via chat, resolving inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service.
Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and issues via chat in a professional and timely manner- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers- Document all interactions with customers accurately in the system- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex customer issues- Upsell products and services to customers when appropriate- Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets- Provide feedback to improve customer service processes
Requirements:- Resilient and reliable with a positive attitude- Excellent persuasion skills and ability to analyze customer needs- Strong written communication skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment- Proficient in using chat support software and CRM systems- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
