As a Chauffeur Trainer Manager, you will report to the Human Resources department and serve various stakeholders' needs, including employees, managers, and department heads. The Chauffeur Trainer Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training systems, driver documents, key performance indicators (KPIs), curriculum, and correction processes within our organization. The CTM is critical in ensuring the competency and safety of Chauffeurs within the organization. By developing and implementing effective training programs, this position contributes to the company's overall success by reducing risks, improving efficiency, and promoting a culture of safety and professionalism among chauffeurs. It is predicated on crafting an unparalleled training foundation to ensure chauffeurs offer our clients a consistent, smooth, and reliable journey while in our care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Develop comprehensive training programs for drivers covering various aspects such as defensive driving techniques, vehicle operation, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. · Train chauffeurs on expectations for high-end accounts. · Conduct new hire and re-training for location chauffeurs. · Interview and assess new hires. · Develop introduction protocols that include 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day check-ins with all new chauffeurs. Actively seek feedback on the training program by developing a chauffeur survey. · Meet and counsel employees on training deficiencies. · Utilize driving protocols such as the Smith System or comparable industry standards to evaluate driving performance. · Develop refresher training for chauffeurs on a quarterly and annual cadence. · Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and tools to engage participants and maximize learning outcomes. · Offer guidance and support to trainees, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding training programs, driving techniques, or safety protocols. · Administer driver's tests. · Keep accurate records of training activities, including attendance, performance evaluations, and training materials. · Provide instruction on the parts and functions of a vehicle and on-road regulations. · Teach practical skills related to all aspects of driving. · Instruct students to develop confidence in their driving skills in company equipment or virtual platforms. · Help students to develop confidence in their driving skills. · Gain control of the vehicle during emergency situations · Train and lead coordinators for special events · Attend sales conferences as needed. · Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Certification or training in Chauffeur education or instructional techniques is desirable. · Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation. · Knowledge of relevant traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards · Proficiency in relevant software applications and platforms used for Chauffeur logging and compliance monitoring based on RMA and DOT standards. · Experience in developing training materials and conducting dynamic training sessions. · Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve goals and objectives. · Stay abreast of new automation to ensure Chauffeurs receive innovative instructional materials. · Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. · When classes are not in session, these changing priorities may require the individual to assist any number of departments. Flexibility and cooperation in achieving RMA's goals are critical. · Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. · Travel to other RMA locations for training · Obtain Smith Certification · Obtain Train the Trainer Certification
