JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for production and preparation of banquet food for catered events.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly responsible for UO banquet department food presentation and quality.
Orders food for all UO catering events.
Provides recap for total food usage and labor after each catered event and reports to data control.
Reviews and organizes upcoming banquet order sheets and forcasts food usage per each event.
Plans and schedules hourly team members for catering events.
Ensures that all team members follow health and sanitation state guidelines.
Ensures that predetermined food cost budget is achieved.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school required.
EXPERIENCE:
5-7 Years experience in food culinary services with 3-5 Years supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
