As Chef De Cuisine, responsible for culinary oversight and managing a team of culinarians.Efficient individual with a passion for food excellence and hospitality.Constantly evolving menu and testing new initiatives to improve business operations.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Lead and motivate chef's in training team to deliver delicious food.• Maintain food quality and presentation across all business channels.• Oversee fresh ingredient quality, inventory, supply, and ordering.• Manage prep schedule and execute line checks.• Maintain kitchen organization and safety protocols.• Manage kitchen facilities and equipment maintenance.• Collaborate with Chef Operator to manage labor and food cost.• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and performance improvement of kitchen team.• Provide feedback to team members and uphold anti-discrimination policies.
Requirements
• 1-2+ years of restaurant team management experience.• Strong work ethic and ability to motivate and develop team members.• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.• Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.• Desire for professional improvement and learning.• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.• Food Safety Certification.
