As the chief accounting officer, you will lead the company's accounting organization. In this role, you'll establish accounting policies and procedures throughout the organization to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations. You'll oversee SEC compliance, statutory financial compliance, and relations with financial regulators and AM Best rating agency. Reporting to the chief finance officer, you'll have ultimate ownership of financial planning, financial systems, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and statutory reporting.
