About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer or Senior Director of Development to lead its fundraising efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization's fundraising strategy.
This includes actively managing the full lifecycle of fundraising for a portfolio of major and planned gift donors and prospects.
The role also involves managing and mentoring a small team, as well as collaborating with the executive management team and Board to meet fundraising goals.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in securing major and planned gifts, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and strong management abilities.
Applicants for the Chief Development Officer or Senior Director of Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is a plus) and approximately 7 years' (Senior Director) or 10 years' (CDO) of relevant fundraising experience.
The role requires a candidate with a demonstrated ability to secure major and planned gifts, experience in moves management, and a background in developing and launching fundraising programs.
The candidate should be adept at using various tools to enhance fundraising strategies, including data analytics and donor segmentation.
Experience with a CRM system, such as DonorPerfect, is also necessary.
