The CEO will be a visionary and strategic leader, responsible for the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan.
This role involves overseeing a full-time team and a national network of ambassadors, as well as working in partnership with the Board of Trustees to drive organizational results.
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership, and a strong understanding of nonprofit management.
Deep experience in the healthcare, health advocacy, or life sciences sectors is essential, with a background in the rare disease space being a plus.
The CEO will also be the leading external representative, devoting significant effort to raising awareness and funds, and will be expected to have a proven track record in fundraising.
Applicants for the CEO position at the company should possess a compassionate, empathetic, and collaborative leadership style, with a strong focus on organizational and people management.
The role requires a leader with a sense of optimism, energy, and a commitment to the organization's mission.
