About the Role The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization in its mission to provide affordable insurance solutions that safeguard the property and financial future of its customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving the organization's strategic and financial goals, with a strong emphasis on profitable growth and superior customer service.
This role requires a leader with a proven track record in fostering a culture of value, opportunity, financial acumen, good governance, collaboration, and creativity.
The CEO will oversee the execution of annual strategies, ensure all functions align with regulatory requirements, and engage the board of directors on key developments and strategic decisions.
Applicants for the President and CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, with a focus on regulatory and/or carrier experience.
Experience in areas such as fire, personal protection insurance, homeowners', mobile homeowners', and related products is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a background that includes profit and loss accountability, a broad multi-function understanding of the industry, and experience with risk, finance, underwriting, actuarial, claims, marketing, and IT.
Additionally, the role requires a leader with exposure to mergers, acquisitions, and/or negotiation of reinsurance treaties, as well as a history of working with regulators, rating agencies, and the reinsurance market.
A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degrees and professional designations being preferred.
