RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement short and long-term financial strategies in alignment with organizational goalsProvide financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementLead all financial and tax reporting, auditing, and compliance activitiesSupport the Finance, Audit, Investment, and Risk Management committeesManage treasury and banking activities, including investments and cash flowCollaborate with Human Resources on employee benefit plans and workforce planningIdentify, evaluate and pursue new revenue generation opportunitiesBuild strong relationships with the CEO, senior leadership team, and Board of DirectorsFoster a culture of equity, inclusion, transparency, and integrityDrive operational efficiency, scalability, and the use of technology to enhance finance functions and UWGC impactSupport the planning and execution of cross-functional projects and initiatives QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
MBA or CPA is a plus but not requiredMinimum 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management roleProven track record of high performance, growth, identifying new revenue streams and team developmentStrong knowledge of financial forecasting, accounting principles, and data analysisExperience presenting financial information to executive teams and Boards of DirectorsFamiliarity with the nonprofit sector is a plus KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Strategic thinking, planning and strong decision-makingFinancial management and analysisOperational leadership and efficiencyCollaboration and influencingCommunication and presentationInnovation and entrepreneurshipIntegrity, ethics, and accountabilityAdaptability and flexibilityMission-driven and results-oriented
