Pasadena Federal Credit Union seeks a strategic leader to play a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing key financial functions, including financial planning and strategy, data analytics and business intelligence, risk management and compliance, and performance management. This leader will develop, implement, and maintain financial strategies that drive sustainable growth, optimize resources, and align with a member-centric focus on delivering high-quality financial services. Experience with industries such as cannabis-related businesses is a plus.
The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with senior leadership to integrate financial planning, risk management, and performance metrics into the credit union's overall strategy. This role will actively support a culture of accountability, sustainability, and social responsibility, ensuring that the credit union's financial health is balanced with community impact. Regular communication of financial insights, data-driven recommendations, and KPIs to Executive Management will enable well-informed, proactive decision-making.
This role requires a forward-thinking, approachable leader skilled in collaboration, change management, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, community leaders, and industry partners. The ideal candidate will guide the credit union with business acumen, compassion, and a commitment to understanding and meeting the evolving needs of our members and communities.

Please submit your resume or LinkedIn profile, highlighting 5-10 years of relevant experience in financial leadership. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Certifications such as CPA or CFA or an advanced degree are a plus. Strong preference for experience with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and Low-Income Designations (LID/LICU). Proven expertise in financial planning, compliance, risk management, BSA/AML, fraud prevention, and internal audit within the financial services sector is also desirable.
The starting salary range is $166,070 to $221,427.
