Job Title: Chief Financial Officer  Job Overview: It's an exciting time to be joining a rapidly growing small business! Rainmakers Strategic Solutions, LLC, a certified SBA 8(a) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), is looking to expand capabilities in the government healthcare space to support an expanding portfolio of federal healthcare clients. We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a government contractor specializing in programmatic support services for federal healthcare clients. This role will involve strategic financial planning, budgeting, compliance with federal regulations, and managing all financial aspects related to government contracts. The CFO will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of the organization while supporting its mission to deliver high-quality services to clients. Job Duties:Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal regulations.Manage the financial operations of government contracts, including cost-plus, materials, fixed-price, and incentive-based contracts.Ensure adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant federal compliance requirements.Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support decision-making processes.Monitor cash flow, manage investment strategies, and optimize working capital.Lead the financial audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure transparency and compliance.Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.Manage relationships with banking and financial institutions to support the company's financial needs.Education:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance is a plus.CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred, but not required.Other relevant certifications (CMA, CFA) are a plus. Years of Experience:A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other business related tools Benefits:Medical/Dental/Life401k Matching up to 4%Tuition ReimbursementThis is a Remote (work from home) position.
