Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our technology strategy and operations.
The CIO will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in software development, have extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, and possess a strong track record of innovation and leadership in a high-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities: Technology Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Telna's business goals and objectives.Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to ensure Telna maintains a competitive edge in the market.Develop a technology roadmap to upgrade and improve systems to scale to handle a significant increase in traffic.Drive innovation in eSIM, SaaS, IoT, and network solutions to enhance Telna's product offerings and customer experience. Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering and technology team.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the technology department.Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team success. Product Development and Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge eSIM, SaaS, and IoT solutions.Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services that meet customer needs and expectations.Collaborate with product management and other departments to define product roadmaps and prioritize development efforts.Devise phased architectural evolution plans, considering business continuity and minimizing disruptions, while ensuring scalability and performance enhancement.Implement and enforce best practices for software development, including agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment, and standardized tools Network Infrastructure and Operations: Collaborate with the COO to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of Telna's global network infrastructure.Collaborate with different stakeholders to Implement best practices for network monitoring, maintenance, and incident management to ensure 24/7 service availability. Customer and Partner Engagement: Provide technical guidance and support to customers, partners, and stakeholders.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to communicate Telna's technology vision and capabilities to customers and prospects.Represent Telna at industry conferences, events, and meetings with key stakeholders. Financial and Resource Management: Develop and manage the technology budget to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with business priorities.Evaluate and implement cost-effective solutions to achieve operational efficiencies and optimize ROI.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.Proven experience as a CIO or in a similar senior technology leadership role within the telecommunications industry.Strong background in software development and a deep understanding of telco technologies and standards (SS7, Diameter, GTP.. etc)Demonstrated experience in managing complex, global network infrastructures, including cloud and on-premise solutions.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.Ability to thrive in a high-paced, always-on global company environment.Willingness to work from the office in Miami, Florida and travel as needed.
