The Role: As COO, reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee SaltWorks' daily operations and ensure seamless collaboration across critical departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT.
Your mission is to enhance customer satisfaction, streamline processes, and drive profitability.
What You'll Do: Strategic Leadership: Define and communicate corporate objectives and KPIs, driving organizational performance and accountability.Operational Excellence: Identify challenges and implement innovative solutions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.Sales & Marketing Optimization: Refine strategies that align with customer needs and support our position as a market leader in specialty salts.Financial Stewardship: Collaborate with the Finance team to analyze P&L statements, optimize spending, and ensure robust financial systems are in place.Organizational Development: Shape team structures and promote a culture of engagement, high performance, and continuous improvement.Cultural Leadership: Foster a collaborative, respectful environment that aligns with SaltWorks' core values and commitment to sustainability.Skills & RequirementsWhat We're Looking For: Experience: 8+ years in senior management roles (COO or equivalent), with a track record of leading cross-functional teams in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and IT.Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Expertise: Proven ability to optimize diverse business functions and drive operational success in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities that inspire teams to achieve their best.Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills with experience in performance metrics, KPIs, ERP, and CRM systems.Bonus: Experience with international supply chains is valuable, especially when working with SaltWorks' global partners.Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office and warehouse work environmentsMust be able to use a computer, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of timeAdditional Information: Salary: $195,000 - $230,000.
