The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational oversight of the Accountable Care Organization, Population Health Service Organization, and the MGB Health Plan Clinical Department.
This includes leading the organization's to financial and clinical success in value-based care arrangements, ensuring high-quality care delivery, and driving the transformation of primary care and specialty value-based payment programs.
The role demands strategic leadership in expanding and adopting best practices, driving change management, and aligning population health clinical programs with the overall mission and goals of the organization.
Applicants must have a medical degree with post-graduate training, board certification, and an active medical license.
A strong background in both provider and payer settings, particularly within an ACO, CIN, or PHO, is preferred.
The role requires a leader with a deep knowledge of analytics, extensive management experience, and a proven track record in population health initiatives.
The Chief Population Health Officer and Chief Medical Officer will also be responsible for financial performance, team development, and external engagement to advocate for population health and influence healthcare policy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong operational and contracting background, experience in clinical research, and a passion for driving excellence in population health outcomes.
