Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, provides Cyber Security services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. SealingTech is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead and oversee all aspects of our product strategy, development, and operations. The CPO will drive the product vision and manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring our product offerings align with both government and commercial market demands. This role will oversee the Product Development, Product Operations, Product Management, and Software Engineering divisions, ensuring cohesive collaboration across hardware and software initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in both hardware and software product development, with experience in the government sector and a preferred understanding of commercial markets. The CPO will work closely with the executive team to develop go-to-market strategies, partner with sales and marketing, and lead teams through the product lifecycle from concept to full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Set and drive the overarching product vision and strategy, aligning with SealingTech's goals for both government and commercial markets.Oversee the Product Development, Product Operations, Product Management, and Software Engineering teams, ensuring effective collaboration and integration between hardware and software.Ensure product strategies are aligned with market demands, customer needs, and business goals.Collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to ensure that the product roadmap supports the company's long-term objectives and revenue growth. Product Development: Lead the Product Development division, responsible for designing, prototyping, and developing cutting-edge hardware products to include Cyber Fly-away Kits and other innovative hardware and software solutions.Ensure that hardware and software innovations are aligned with customer needs and market trends. Product Operations: Oversee Product Operations, including the manufacturing, assembly, and logistics of our hardware products.Ensure seamless transitions from design and development to full-scale production, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Software Engineering: Manage the Software Engineering division, responsible for the development of embedded software, user-facing applications, and system integrations.Ensure software is fully integrated with hardware products, delivering high-performance and secure solutions. Product Management: Lead the Product Management function, including oversight of Product Owners responsible for hardware and software product lines.Ensure alignment between product development and the company's strategic goals, while working closely with sales and marketing to refine go-to-market strategies. Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies.Drive product positioning, pricing, and competitive analysis to capture market share and expand SealingTech's footprint in both government and commercial sectors. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between product teams and other departments, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, engineering, and finance.Establish and maintain effective communication across the organization to ensure all teams are informed of product development milestones, market changes, and strategic initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Executive leadership experience with at least 10+ years in product development roles, including both hardware and software.Proven experience in the government sector is required, with a preference for candidates with a track record of commercial market success as well.Extensive experience managing cross-functional teams, including R&D, product operations, software development, and product owners.Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth.Strong ability to partner with sales and marketing teams to bring innovative products to market and optimize customer engagement.Deep knowledge of product development processes, product lifecycle management, and operationalizing R&D efforts.Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and growing teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working at the C-suite level.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred). This role has an executive position with a targeted base salary range of $200k to $240k.Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to the anticipated salary, one will have the opportunity to qualify for an annual bonus. Working is no longer solely about the job.
