Chief Quality Officer CQO Near Houston Texas
Our Client is a 350 bed Hospital that sits on an 150 acre campus serving Northwest Houston.
It is part of one of the largest and most successful health systems in the United States.
They have an immediate need for a superstar Chief Quality Officer to take their Quality and Patient Safety Departments to the next level.
The CQO Chief Quality Office is responsible for overseeing/managing hospital wide and medical staff quality review processes.
Duties include obtaining, analyzing and improving quality data including but not limited to, medical staff quality indicators, surgical case/invasive procedure review, blood usage review, mortality review, special targeted studies/research and complications review in accordance with QI standards and procedures.
Is responsible for quality initiatives including continual survey readiness activities. Manages data processes for obtaining and reporting practitioner-specific data.
Qualifications
·Nursing or other clinical healthcare license/degree.
·CPHQ preferred
·Masters degree required
Experience:
Desirable characteristics include a working knowledge of Quality Improvement principles.Must possess a positive working relationship with the Medical Staff, Department Leaders, and Hospital Staff throughout the facility, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Minimum of three years in an acute care facility and demonstrates a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations is desirable.Minimum of two years experience in Quality Management required.License:
