Job DescriptionThe world's best ready-to-drink cocktail maker seeks a results-driven Chief Sales Officer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record accelerating growth and scaling a brand nationally while managing a remote sales team.
Join us on our mission to disrupt the alcoholic ready-to-drink category with authentic, real-ingredient, right-sized, full-strength cocktails. Post Meridiem is the 100ml cocktail category leader as reported by Nielsen, won Best in Class at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition and has distribution in 20 states and counting.
Post Meridiem headquarters and manufacturing are based in Atlanta, GA but the candidate can reside anywhere within the US.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Team Management – Lead, monitor and develop a team of in-market sales representatives who are responsible for new and existing retailer relationships, growing velocity per account, executing in-store tastings, conducting brand education sessions, and working with a local distributor team. Experience with VIP and iDig required.Distributor Management – Previous experience managing large distributor networks strongly preferred. Win share of mind via relationship building, sharing strategic insights, designing pricing programs, building and executing incentive plans and leading GSM presentations. Routinely analyzes distributor execution performance.Managing to Goals – Work with company founders to develop business plans and be accountable for the results. Routinely assess business performance and take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of sales targets.Qualifications5+ years of experience as a regional or national sales lead for alcoholic beverage brands. Proven track record of meeting projections.Data-driven with strong analytical skills. Able to devise actionable sales plans based on insights.Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to overcome obstacles, execute on projects thoroughly, and be an ambassador of our brand.Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
