Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatrist - Boise, IDPractice HighlightsSaint Alphonsus Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to become part of a physician-led 500+ provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents, children, and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse child and adolescent outpatient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial, multidisciplinary team, and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Support: Practice includes 1 Physician, 1 APP, 2 Clinical Psychologists, and a LCSW, with recruitment of additional providers underway. This spacious, recently renovated clinic setting on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus is part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Clinics.
RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degreeSuccessful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency programChild and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training requiredBoard certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employmentObtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at SARMCValid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEACommunityBoise, Idaho's Capital City anchors a vibrant and growing mid-sized metropolitan area of 690,000 people.
