Position Purpose:
The Child and Adolescent Services Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a dynamic team within our outpatient behavioral health services, specifically focused on child and adolescent behavioral health.
This role involves development of services that align with community needs, overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and patients.
The Supervisor will drive program development, enhance community outreach, and ensure that treatment goals are met in alignment with best practices.
By integrating strategic oversight with hands-on supervision, the position aims to optimize service delivery, promote professional growth, and address the complex mental health needs of young individuals and their families.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: Master's Degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or other related fieldLicensed in Illinois as LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist Must qualify as a Licensed Practitioner of the Health Arts (LPHA) per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132Proven track record in behavioral health treatment with a focus on child and adolescent populationsExperience as a supervisor in behavioral health treatment preferred Experience in conducting individual, family and group counselingCompetence in using common computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation softwareBelief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance Essential Responsibilities:
1.
Supervise and manage therapists within an outpatient mental health setting, focusing on child and adolescent behavioral health treatment.
2.
Develop and enhance the Child and Adolescent Services by spearheading community outreach efforts, implementing new program initiatives, and establishing treatment goals to improve patient outcomes.
3.
Provide behavioral health treatment services supporting a half-time caseload of clients.
4.
Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members.
5.
Facilitate communication with all staff members and oversee compliance and performance by tracking key progress indicators.
6.
Serve as subject matter expert related to child and adolescent behavioral health in the Chicago and Chicagoland region.
7.
Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, staff, and community groups.
8.
Develop and manage partnership relationships that support behavioral healthcare access for children and adolescents in the Chicago and Chicagoland regions.
9.
Establish and maintain a visible and supportive presence within the community to promote mental health awareness, provide resources, and foster connections with individuals seeking support.
10.
Deliver day-to-day supervision and guidance to the team, ensuring alignment with the strategic oversight and support provided by senior leadership.
11.
Manage daily clinical operations, addressing immediate clinical issues that arise, and conduct monthly audits of client charts to ensure accuracy, compliance and high standards of care.
12.
Lead team meetings and case review sessions to address complex cases and enhance client care.
13.
Represent the department in committees and organizational initiatives as determined appropriate by leadership.
14.
Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
15.
Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
16.
Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
17.
Work hours prescribed by leadership and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
Some variation in hours may be required to meet company needs.
18.
Assume other additional responsibilities as requested by leadership.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Shift: Day shift 8:00am - 4:30pm with a minimum of 3 evening shifts 12:00pm - 8:30pmMonday through Friday Work Location: Rosecrance Therapies - Chicagoland Region (travel between sites required)
