Childcare Center Director

Our 1-year new childcare center

is within the newly renovated Collective which is beautifully situated on the Rock River. The Y's Ehlinger Center workout facility is located downstairs with a full YMCA facility currently being constructed adjacent and scheduled to open later in 2025.
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Direct program operations of the childcare center that are known to encourage physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth in a safe and nurturing environment that is recognized as meeting accreditation standards.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in early childhood development, education, or related field required.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in program administration/education, required. Staff management experience preferred.
Knowledge of state childcare licensing, NAC and Young Star accreditation requirements.
Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
