About the Role
Part Time, Sessional
Key Responsibilities include:
Support, guide, and manage students in a Chinese Medicine (Herbal) setting.
Incorporate personal professional experiences into subjects to make them relevant and relatable.
Continuously assess students' clinical performance and provide support to those at risk.
Assist students in client treatment, including time management and maintaining confidentiality.
Foster a student-centered learning environment through positive interaction.
Stay updated on academic and industry developments in the relevant discipline.
Provide input to enhance programs based on various feedback sources.
Contribute to scholarly activities such as collaborations, conference presentations, publications, and marketing activities as required.
Ensure adherence to college policies and procedures.
Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Fulfill other duties assigned by academic management.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine or equivalent.
Experience in Chinese Medicine, herbal dispensary and clinical practice, ideally minimum of two years.
Past teaching or clinic supervision experience is preferred but not necessary.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal abilities.
Proven experience collaborating with various stakeholders, including students and professionals.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships within and outside the College, including industry and the broader community.
Demonstrated commitment to high ethical and professional standards in leadership and work.
Relevant post-graduate qualifications are preferred.
