Job description C.E.S. is seeking an experienced, energetic and personable CIVIL EIT (or similar) to join our professional team. We are a firm of 25 highly respected Engineers and Surveyors with projects in 45 communities in 12 counties in northern Illinois. We are the appointed Engineers for 7 communities and a first-tier Engineer for 6 other communities, along with providing Engineering and Surveying services for the largest developers, builders and contractors in the region. In this role, you will have various responsibilities centered around preparing preliminary and final designs for public and private infrastructure and assisting our clients in all of their infrastructure coordination needs. Site plans for developers and infrastructure improvements for our Municipalities (roads, sanitary sewer, water systems, storm sewer and stormwater management) is the majority of our work, but we'll handle anything Civil related that our clients need. We are a Professional Services firm that treats our clients and employees like family and friends. Requirements: 2-5 years of relevant experience EIT or similar training The ability to work independently, multi-task and manage multiple projects Strong communication skills Criminal background check and clean driving record is required Functional in AutoCAD Civil 3D Familiarity with public infrastructure design and preparation of construction drawings and project documents Familiarity with storm water calculations, drainage design and analysis Must be willing to learn, be detail oriented, and have great interpersonal skills. Full-time Salary of $70,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.
