Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution P.E. License or E.I.T. Minumun 5 years of relevant experience The ability to work independently, multi-task and manage multiple (8-15) projects Strong communication skills Criminal background check and clean driving record is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Functional in AutoCAD Civil 3D A working knowledge of surveying and survey principles Knowledge of ADA requirements and building codes Knowledge of storm water best management practices Familiarity with private site and public infrastructure design and preparation of complete construction drawings and project documents Familiarity with local, state and federal regulations with regard to design Experience working with local and state agencies in plan review and approval Experience working with city and county permitting and plat review process Familiarity with storm water calculations, drainage design and analysis Must also be willing to learn, be detail oriented, and have good interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: · Assimilate topographic surveys and architectural site plans into AutoCAD Civil 3D · Grading and drainage design · Utility design (storm, sanitary, and water) · Geometric layout of new and rehabbed sites and parking lots · Hydraulic design and calculations of small, large and regional stormwater systems including pipe networks and detention ponds · Manage and Interpret as-builts · Assist colleagues whenever necessary · Other duties as assigned.
