Civil Engineer

Position Summary: Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join a Land Development team. This role is ideal for a Civil EIT with 2+ years of experience or a Civil PE with 4+ years of experience. The position will turn into a hybrid role based on proven performance and productivity. The successful candidate will be proficient in Civil 3D and will have experience in designing and executing land development projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and/or residential. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on land development projects, including site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design. Use Civil 3D to create detailed site layouts, grading plans, and profiles. Conduct feasibility studies and prepare engineering reports for various land development projects. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, permitting requirements, and company standards. Conduct field visits as needed to oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to project designs. Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues or changes. Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to complete deliverables on time and within budget. Requirements: For EIT: 2+ years of civil engineering experience in land development. For PE: 4+ years of civil engineering experience in land development, with active PE licensure. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Demonstrated experience in one or more sectors: commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or residential projects. Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while meeting deadlines and productivity expectations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications A well-maintained project list showcasing completed work in relevant sectors. Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to land development projects. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring on-time delivery.
