POSITION SUMMARY Seeking a Civil Engineer with a focus on water resources, civil engineering, and natural infrastructure projects.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Bachelors / Master degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical engineering3+ years of post graduate professional experience in engineering design, field work, and or construction projects with technical knowledge and skills across the civil and environmental industry, including a strong background in planning, design, permitting, and construction phase servicesExtensive knowledge of all project phases including pre-design, conceptual design, detailed design, construction administration, start-up and commissioning, and operationsExperience in preparing and advancing plan set packages through all project phasesExperience with green infrastructure and low impact developmentFamiliarity in applications of nature-based solutions (NbS)Experience with tools such as AutoCAD and Civil3DUnderstanding of urban and rural hydrologic processes, watersheds, open channel and closed pipe hydraulics, and proficiency in GIS (ARCmap/ GISPro).DESIRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE Geomorphology trainingH&H modeling experienceExperience designing and implementing (NbS)Land development and transportation projects experience with focus on drainage, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control.Stream and wetland restoration experienceAt the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position is between $83,000 and $93,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
