RS&H seeks a graduate Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure Practice in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. RS&H is passionate about Infrastructure! Our Infrastructure practice provides a full range of planning, design, and agency support services. You will design civil engineering projects essential for the continued safe and efficient operation of the nation's most important infrastructure systems. You will assist with various design-related assignments, analyses, and field duties on infrastructure projects, primarily airports and roadways in Texas. You will assist in the development of construction plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, bid documents, various calculations, and quantity takeoffs under the direction of licensed civil engineers.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityBasic knowledge of civil engineering design, systems, calculations, along with the application of engineering methods and construction methods and materialsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Open RoadsMust have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving recordExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work on multiple assignments simultaneouslyBusiness acumen and facilitation skills working with a broad set of clients, stakeholders and members of the publicPreferred Qualifications: Prior internship and/or related engineering experienceIf this sounds like the role for you and you are ready to join an amazing team, please apply.
