Civil & General Practice Paralegal Location: Manchester NH

Position: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented general practice paralegal to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of case and calendar management, and the process of drafting and electronically filing pleadings with the District, Superior, and Bankruptcy courts in New Hampshire.
The position requires excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask while assisting attorneys with the preparation of documents and maintaining communication with clients, courts and other associated parties.
Key Responsibilities: · Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing documents such as petitions, complaints, answers, writs, objections, correspondence and motions.
· File documents with the District, Superior and Bankruptcy courts and handle tasks including inventorying assets, managing distributions, and addressing creditor claims.
· Gather and organize relevant documents and information from clients and other involved parties, including discovery materials.
· Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to civil and bankruptcy cases, and provide summaries and analysis to attorneys.
· Maintain organized case files and calendars of deadlines and hearings; prepare files for hearings.
· Work closely with attorneys, clients a third parties to ensure quality and efficient services.
· Act as a liaison between attorneys and clients, ensuring that clients are informed about case developments and deadlines.
· Manage client billing and assist in processing invoices.
Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a general practice paralegal or legal assistant.
Strong knowledge of local and state laws.
Familiarity with the NH e-filing system and bankruptcy filing systems (PACER, CM/ECF) and procedures.
Excellent organizational, communication, and client relationship management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in handling cases in a variety of legal areas, including contract and business disputes, real estate, and bankruptcy.
Proficiency with Clio case management system (preferred).
Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited institution.
