Position Summary Sr.
Civil/Structural Designer will serve as both Lead Designer and Checker overseeing a team of designers developing civil structural design drawings for refinery projects.
This role will include managing design team, coordinating projects, developing designs, integrating safety protocols, and ensuring interdisciplinary collaboration.
In addition, this role will include responsibilities for job estimation and coordinating work sharing with HVEC partners.
Top requirements for Role: Strong leadership and project coordination skills, with the ability to work within and manage a team of designers, collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary Teams.
Must demonstrate extensive knowledge in civil and structural designs for refinery projects, including proficiency in AutoCAD and CADWorx 3D.
Advanced Steel expertise is a huge plus.
Ability to manage multiple small projects, experience in managing work sharing with HVEC partners, ensuring seamless collaboration across global teams.
Qualifications AutoCAD and CADWorx 3D software experience is required, Advanced Steel expertise is a plus.
Minimum of ten (10) years of technical work experience is required.
Experience in onshore oil & gas is required.
Field experience required.
TWIC is required.
Ability to work on multiple small projects quickly, simultaneously while maintaining quality.
Ability to climb up on tall structures, find a solution for or to deal proactively with work related problems, ability to comprehend instructions and request clarification as necessary, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, ability to think in a way to produce a new concept or idea, make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
Education Requirements High School education (or equivalent) with additional basic drafting courses training from a vocational-technical school or other applicable program.
