Civil Superintendent

A Chicago based heavy construction company looking for a qualified Superintendent to join their team. This company invests in its team, providing a nourishing atmosphere where growth is promoted and compensation is top-notch. Applier must have a proven track record of excellent project management and project services.
Superintendent responsibilities:
*Daily on-site supervision of the construction site.
*Develop and maintain an overall project schedule.
*Review and provide feedback on scopes of work for vendor and subcontractor contracts.
*Complete daily job reports.
*Coordinate inspections.
*Schedule pre-construction meetings with subcontractors to review the scope of work, submittals, schedule, and logistics.
Superintendent Qualifications:
*Be able to create, change, and maintain a project schedule using Microsoft Project.
*Possess excellent communication skills.
*Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
*Strong verbal and written skills.
*Excellent management and leadership skills.
*Possess problem-solving skills.
*Be organized.
*Be a self-motivated team player who works well with others.
*Must possess excellent decision making/problem-solving skills.
*Able to manage and direct others.
