This person will be handling all claims from different branches in the field and managing the each claim from start to finish.Develop and implement risk management policies and protocols to mitigate potential risks.Manage the claims process from occurrence to closure, including all associated administrative tasks and claims software entry.Collaborate with the general counsel, attorneys, and other stakeholders to resolve claims and handle litigated issues.Drive the claims process with adjusters to ensure timely follow through of actions itemsAct as the primary liaison with insurance brokers, adjusters, and workers' compensation carriers.Oversee and manage all incidents, ensuring they are properly reported, investigated, and resolved.Analyze and approve the claims loss and expense reserves established by insurance carriers in conjunction with the others in the Risk Management Department.Travel to various field locations to assess risk, investigate incidents, and implement risk mitigation strategies.Develop and implement process improvements in the risk management program to enhance efficiency.Provide guidance on general liability and workers' compensation issues.Act as the liaison to attorneys, insurance companies and/or insurance investigating incidents that may result in asset loss.Partner closely with EHS on OSHA investigations and all matters related to risk mitigation/avoidance.

Ideal candidate:someone with experience as an adjuster, in the worker's compensation side is preferredsomeone worked as
