CLAIMS SERVICES MANAGER/SR. MANAGER IMT Insurance is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Claim Services Manager/Sr. Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of claims operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position demands a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and experience in managing and implementing complex claims processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing claims operations, fostering a customer-centric culture, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and compliance. They will be responsible for the leadership and management of the service team personnel and will partner with Claims leadership to understand, implement, and monitor key initiatives that will enhance the customer experience and improve team productivity by developing and overseeing training strategies, initiatives, and processes and procedures for the claims team. A DAY IN THE LIFE Supervises and trains Claims Services personnel.Manage relationships with all external vendors for the department to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to service-level agreements.Oversee contract negotiation, execution, and compliance related to claims operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.Analyze claims data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.Oversee the claims system infrastructure, ensuring its functionality, optimization, and integration with other relevant platforms.Manage subrogation efforts to recover claim costs from liable third parties, including coordination with legal counsel and negotiation with other insurers.Ensure adherence to Medicare regulations and guidelines in claims processing, including timely reporting, reimbursement, and coordination of benefits.Direct the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) team in identifying, investigating, and mitigating instances of fraud and suspicious claims activity.Lead cross-functional projects related to claims operations, collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing claims operations, including regular audits and reporting.Continuously assess and refine claims processes and procedures to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.Manage regular audits of claims files to assess compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize claims handling efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate emerging risks and ensure consistent claim outcomes.Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance claims operations, drive process improvements, and achieve organizational objectives.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on claims operations, performance, and key initiatives.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS A college education or equivalent and 10+ years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or related claims knowledge, with a minimum of 5 years in insurance claims operations management, with specific expertise in project management, compliance, audit management, and vendor and contract management.Strong knowledge of insurance policy coverage, liability, auditing standards, regulatory compliance requirements and Medicare regulations.Experience with claims systems and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, develop, motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives.Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans, managing change, and driving continuous improvement.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to drive results.BENEFITS & PERKS IMT Insurance is committed to our employees and their families.
