Responsible for confirming accuracy and safety of delivery contents. Must be an efficient and accountable worker with a clean driving record.Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicleDrive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.Pull a towed weight over 10,000 lbs.Operate multiple combinations of quad axle dump truck, flatbed truck with knuckle boom, and flatbed truck with a trailer.Transport pipe, embedment, construction materials, and spoils between project location and laydown facility.Ensure trailer hitch is properly and securely attached to tractor unitEnsure contents are properly secured inside of truck or trailer to prevent breakage or damageSafely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinationsAssist site teammates with loading and unloading processesMap driving routesConfirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripCheck weather conditions and road reports before departureAlways ensure your vehicle is kept cleanMaintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encounteredMaintain detailed driving and delivery logsTrack and report working hoursAdhere to company rules and regulationsObey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditionsComply with ICC and DOT regulationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Valid Class A driver's license required2+ years proven experience driving a related class A vehicle preferredClean driving record with no moving violationsSkilled and confident driverComfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailerAlert, focused, and detail-orientedPhysically and mentally fitAbility to operate skid steer, telehandler is preferred.Proficient using GPS and other routing systemsAn innate sense of directionDisciplined, dependable, and resourcefulPhysical Requirements:Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.Move heavy objects (94 pounds or more) short distances (20 feet or less).Move light objects (less than 94 pounds) long distances (more than 20 feet).Heavy lifting with repeated stooping, carrying and bending continually over time (i.e., picks up materials and move to a different location).Work long shifts with non-standard break timesWork in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.Able to sit for long periods of timeAble to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.Able to Enter the cab of a vehicle that is 3.5 feet (or more) off the groundAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
