Responsibilities
• Transport, deliver, and unload windows and patio door products• Ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicles• Deliver correct product to customers and complete required paperwork accurately• Inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe to operate• Comply with regulations, rules, and company procedures• Report road hazards observed• Deliver or pick up freight, obtaining signed receipts• Report accidents and injuries• Report condition of equipment and submit paperwork• Plan trips and determine shortest and safest route• Interact courteously with dispatcher, company staff, and customers• Complete delivery tickets and notify customer service of any issues• Comply with state and federal regulations• Complete trip records and driver daily logs• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• Valid class B driver's license preferred• Clean driving record and minimum 2 years of delivery driver experience• 1 year of manual labor, commercial driving, and manual transmission preferred• Must be DOT compliant• Experience reading maps and using electronic GPS• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Must be able to work with minimal supervision• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English• Demonstrate efficiency in job duties
